Come and build the thing that remembers people
Personade rebuilds one recording into a different video for every account on a client’s list. Small team, bootstrapped, and everything you do is visible.
What you would be working on
Seven things happen between someone recording once and a stranger hearing their own name
- 01
One recording goes in
30 to 90 seconds
A sales rep talking to a camera about the thing they sell. Filmed once, on a laptop, never again.
- 02
We work out what was said, and when
Speech to text, word-level timings
Not just the words. The exact millisecond each one starts and ends, because everything downstream cuts on those numbers.
- 03
We find the words that change per account
LLM span detection
The clauses carrying the variables, each ending on a natural pause so the join lands where the mouth is already still. Getting this wrong is audible.
- 04
We clone the voice from that same take
Voice cloning, with consent
No separate recording session. The voice comes out of the video they already made, which is the only reason the whole thing takes five minutes.
- 05
We say different words in it
Text to speech, gain and tone matched
Their name, their company, their pain point. Synthetic speech is studio-dry and mastered louder than a laptop mic. So it gets levelled, shelved toward the real voice, and the room's own quiet is laid underneath it. Skip that and the ear catches the edit even when the mouth is perfect.
- 06
We re-render the mouth
Lip-sync
The face is really theirs. The mouth is redrawn to match a word they never said.
- 07
It lands somewhere
ffmpeg, object storage, queues
Stitched, encoded, uploaded, and delivered as a personal page for every account on a client's list, mapped back to their own CSV.
How it works here
At this size, none of this is a slogan
You own the thing, not a ticket
Nothing is handed down from a backlog. You pick up the problem and it is yours end to end, including the part where you decide what the right answer was.
Decisions take minutes
There is no committee, no board and no quarter to wait for. Something that should obviously change can change the same afternoon.
Nobody sits between you and the customer
You hear what they say in their own words, unfiltered by a report. That loop is the whole advantage of being this size.
Bootstrapped, so the maths is honest
No runway theatre and no growth targets invented to justify a round. Customers pay or they do not, and everyone can see which.
One thing before you write
This is early, and early suits some people
Bootstrapped, three founders, seven timezones apart, and most of the company written down rather than said out loud. If you want a spec and a ramp, this would frustrate you by week two. If you have wanted to own something end to end and never been let near it, this is the version of that.
One email, naming the role, telling us why you would be good at it. Record it instead of writing it if you would rather, and you will have understood the product without us explaining it.
It goes to all three founders and you will hear back either way. No form, no tracking system, no keeping you on file.
